Introduction
Strobid Support is a developer-first infrastructure for deploying AI and human support to any website or native application.
sp_ key for the support widget and agent routing, and the db_ key for secure database queries.
1. Web Integration
The fastest way to add Strobid Support to your website is by pasting a single script tag before the closing </body> tag.
The widget automatically fetches your project configuration (colors, welcome message, bot name) from our servers using your API key. No additional CSS is required.
2. Native App Integration
If you are building a native iOS or Android app, you don't need the web widget. Instead, download your strobid-config.json file from the dashboard.
Android
Place the strobid-config.json file in your app/src/main/assets/ directory.
iOS
Drag and drop the strobid-config.json file into your Xcode project root. Ensure "Copy items if needed" is checked.
Your app can then initialize the Strobid SDK (coming soon) or make direct HTTP requests to our gateway using the keys inside the JSON file.
3. API Authentication
All requests to the Strobid Gateway must include your API key in the headers.
Never expose your db_ key in client-side code. It is intended for server-to-server communication to query your database securely.
4. Available Endpoints
POST /v1/sessions
Creates a new chat session. Returns a session_id used to track messages.
POST /v1/messages
Sends a message to the AI or a human agent. Requires the session_id.
GET /v1/agents
Returns a list of active support agents for your project. Requires the sp_ key.
